Stay for the Food: Miss Julie’s Chicken and Noodles

Winter has finally arrived in Indiana!

I hate cold.

Thankfully, I will have a crock-pot  full of yummy chicken and noodles to keep me and the Tiny Human warm.  This recipe comes from one of the Tiny Human’s teachers, Miss Julie (bless this woman and her patience).

This could not be a simpler recipe and it feeds an army.  Or me for a solid week.

Miss Julie’s Chicken and Noodles
Ingredients:
-3-4 chicken breasts
-1 stick butter, sliced
-2 cans cream of chicken soup
-42oz chicken broth
-10-12oz bag egg noodles

Place the chicken, butter, cream of chicken soup,  and the broth in a crock-pot.  Cook on low for 8 hours.
After 8 hours, remove chicken from the crock-pot and shred.  Return shredded chicken to the crock-pot and add the noodles.  Cover and cook on low for an hour or until noodles are done.

    Yum! Also, I love the new look for the blog – nicely done!

    We like chowder during cold weather. Cream of chicken (or whatever else works for you) soup, broth, veggies, potatoes, and ham (or chicken, or corn, or bacon or whatever makes you happy) in a crockpot – leave it on low and come home to a house that smells like happy wonderfulness.

    Also garlic cheesy bacon bread. Yes, this is a thing. It’s our new go-to for potlucks (sorry, lemme translate: pitch-ins). Message me if you’re interested in the super-easy recipe.
